jolly 4th of july

Early in the morning on July 3rd, 2007, I received an email via the YSA's calling for parade volunteers. Lucky me I got to be walking one of the giaganamous balloons through the District!

These are quite possibly THE cheeriest pictures I've ever taken. Carebears, sunshine, and American patriotism. What more could a girl ask for?

We waited for about an hour after the ballon was blown up before we could start marching.
